Rates & Insurance
I'm afraid I don't take any kind of insurance, but I work as a fee-for-service provider. I collect the fee from the client at the time of each session, and you may pay by check, cash, or credit card. You may also make a payment using the PayPal link on this website. My practice is highly personalized. Working with me, you can expect high-quality service, personalized care, dedicated time, and greater access. Counseling is a unique and valuable investment in yourself and in your relationship.
Depending on the issues you're working on, meeting every-other week can be highly productive. Some clients traveling further distances may schedule a two-hour session either two times or one time per month. I would be happy to work with you and draw up a plan that is both effective and affordable.
$155 per 55-minute session (individuals)
$210 per 75-minute session (couples sessions)
Billing Statement / Superbill
If you'd like, I will gladly provide you with a billing statement or "super bill" which you can then send to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of your out-of-pocket expenses. Often a PPO will simply ask that you submit the billing statement along with a simple patient claim form completed by you. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Please check your coverage carefully by calling your insurance company's customer service number and asking if they will reimburse you, and if so, what their proceedure is.
Cash, check, credit card, and PayPal are accepted for payment.
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. You may consult with the therapist if you have any questions.
You must call to cancel your session at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged for that missed session.
